Through His Eyes

On my life's journey from sexual abuse victim to victory over the abuse in Jesus Christ, I came to realize quite a few of my peers, female and male, had been sexually abused as children but never spoke to anyone about what they had experienced. We were born into an era where these types of crimes were rarely discussed, and if discovered, were commonly and quietly swept under the rug. The victim was told by a parent or caregiver to not tell anyone, to “just get over it”, leading to feelings of guilt and shame. 
Consequently, we have a segment of my generation ( Baby Boomers) still trying to “just get over it”, which is why I have become so passionate in seeking to be a vessel God can use to point people who are struggling with this issue to the Cross Of Christ. For complete restoration of body, soul, mind, and spirit.
